Dave Woodward was born in Norfolk, Virginia. His academic background includes graduating cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with an AB degree from Indiana University where he majored in Greek and Latin and minored in Mathematics. Undergraduate degree was followed by obtaining MBA and JD degrees from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Graduate Studies and Biddle School of Law. During his post-graduate degrees he concentrated in finance and taxation. He was a licensed CPA in the State of Maryland and a licensed lawyer in the State of  Pennsylvania.

Mr. Woodward’s professional life began in the US Army Military Intelligence’s Defense Language Institute on the US West Coast and in West Germany. From 1978 till retirement in 2012 Mr. Woodward served in various corporations including Arthur Andersen & Co. where he served as tax manager; he was the director of tax planning and acting general counsel for Decision Data Computer Corporation and was the Vice President of Legal & Tax Affairs for Surgical Laser Technologies, Inc. (SLT) where he served as the Corporate Counsel during SLT’s merger with PhotoMedex, Inc.

Mr. Woodward and his wife live in West Hills, CA and they are both active Rotarians – Mr. Woodward being designated as the President Elect for their home club – the Rotary Club of San Fernando Valley Evening. Mr. Woodward is the winner of several awards including the William Kellogg Award from the US military, Paul Harris Award from Rotary to just name a few.
